I am a pretty extroverted, unconventional, open-minded person who is constantly looking at the world in adoration of its beauty. My favorite things in life are: art, music, love, food, nature, travel, feathers, culture, Santorini, San Francisco, and the sun.
I am an artist who enjoys talking for hours about philosophy, psychology, anthropology, society, and beliefs while hearing things from the other perspective and feeling open towards changing my own. Creative and a bit excentric, I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and ideas. I believe that art is our visual music and music plays a great part in my life.
Some of my favorite bands are: Noah and the Whale, Florence + The Machine, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Eddie Vedder, Adele, Jack Penate, Cat Stevens, Beirut, Damien Rice, The National, Wilco, Animal Collective, Dave Matthews Band, and Explosions in the Sky.
Though music and art go hand in hand, my main passion is art. As a painter/sculpter/drawer, I am persuing fine art as my career and plan on obtaining my BFA at San Francisco Art Institute and getting a masters in education and art therapy. The majority of my art is on the last two pages of this blog and the rest are many pieces by other artists that I admire.
Some of my favorite fine artists are: Jenny Saville, Egon Schiele, Marina Abromovic, Lucean Freud, Ana Theresa Fernandez, and Alexandra Becker-Black. //
